(More customer reviews)I use this with a 30gb video ipod, and the S9 by Motorolla. The sound is much better then expected. It does cut out when in very busy places, like the train station, also there is no case in existance that will hold this with the adapter on it.
The built in stand is pretty sweet for desktop use.
The biggest issue is that the directions don't tell you how to actually pair this item with a headset. I will tell you here...
Press and hold the power button of the Adapter for at least 8 seconds (may take up to 15 seconds) continuously. While you are holding the power button down the LED indicator will first flash green only (start up mode), then flash green and amber alternating slowly (successful startup), and finally change to a rapid alternating green and amber: the Adapter is now in Pairing Mode. When you see the LED switch to Pairing Mode, the power button can be released and the unit should stay in Pairing Mode with the LED continuing to quickly flash alternating green and amber (the flashing cycle time should be less than a second). The Adapter will stay in this mode waiting for you to put the Headset into pairing mode as well for about 3 minutes.

Therefore you CANNOT and I repeat CANNOT have access to the Nano when it's hooked into your AUX on your car stereo. So hopefully the songs are all in order that you like because you can't switch to the next song unless you disconnect the whole darn thing each time. The device has the Nano hookup on the right hand side, but the hole on the Nano is on the left which is why it has to go backwards...kind of a pain but you get what you pay for I guess

Audio Technica PRO-88W Wireless Microphone System (171.045 and 171.845 MHz) Review

(More customer reviews)This wireless lapel microphone, transmitter, and receiver works well for close quarters shooting. The 9 volt batteries can last up to 8 hours.
The sound quality of this mic is very good. But there are some issues. The RF signal is weak and I have experienced interference issues when the transmitter was covered by a suit jacket with the subject located fifteen to twenty feet away from the transmitter while other RF devices are present in the immediate vicinity. So Far I have documented four events with this set and I have experienced white noise and interefernce at two of those events. I did not experience sonic interference the entire time but once in a while a bit of static would build up and then fade away over 20 to 60 seconds of time. This seemed to depend on the movement of the subject wearing the transmitter crossing the path of other RF (radio frequency) transmitting devices. For that reason I have decided to purchase a higher end unit for Business and Wedding video shoots. I am still going to use this mic for studio interviews and on location shooting where my subject will never be more then 10 feet away when I have the luxury time to work out any interference issues.
All in all, I do like this wireless mic set because it is easy to work with and fills a a particular niche for beginning Videographers. The Pro-88 came with a few extra things that helped. These include; a single ear bud that allows the camera operator to monitor the audio signal as its being recorded, two detachable belt clips for the transmitter and the receiver, a camera shoe mounting bracket for the transmitter if you would rather attach it to the camera, four strips of Velcro, and two strips of soft foam for resting the transmitter on an inclined surface.
I recommend this wireless lapel microphone system for small budget projects and as a possible back up for small events and venues. However I would suggest saving up and buying a pro series of wireless lav mics for weddings and corporate events.

(More customer reviews)*TAKE NOTE: Don't turn your radio on UNTIL you have found a clear FM station with the Zune Car Pack 2. Turning your radio on FIRST seems to prevent the device from finding any clear FM station.
*Some people have had luck tuning with the radio on. The important thing to remember is you are tuning a radio and just like a real radio it may take a little effort to tune it.
None of the harsh negative reviews are accurate IMHO and with respect to these people. It really makes me wonder of their validity in every single claim. The reviews greatly differ from the excellent and flawless product I just received and used. It could be that these well meaning people simply missing something on how to use this very simple and EXTREMELY effective device. My experience was a 100% POSITIVE with ZERO trouble! The Zune Car Pack 2 actually shocked the hell out of me because of the negative above reviews (I was already prepared to send it back). Like most everyone I read the user comments before I buy anything. I called Amazon to verify I could send this product back before I bought because of the horrid reviews above. Sometimes I will gamble anyway with a product purchase like this and this time and it paid off BIG. I got exactly what was advertised and what I wanted in my car.
1) I live in a VERY URBAN area. Nearly every single radio frequency is occupied. I plugged in the adapter hooked up the Zune used the auto-tune to find a clear station. Turned on the radio, tuned it to match the clear frequency and the sound was flawless. I honestly could not tell any significant difference from direct input. No kidding it works that well and that easy. There are also online resources that can locate some good clear FM frequencies by zip code if you should need extra help. The Zune Car Pack 2 finds the clearest stations for me everytime.
2) No static at all! Believe me I tried to get it. I shook my Zune like a nut, I shook the transmitter like an ape, I even placed metal objects on the cord and put the transmitter in every weird place I could think of. Perfect no static. I could not make static no matter how I tried (Man, I forgot to wrap everything in aluminum foil...now that may have a chance)! I tried my hardest to make this accessory sound bad and hear the static claims in the previous posted reviews. But the Zune Car Park v2 remained superb.
3) The Zune pad the is designed to hold the Zune on the dash or somewhere flat. Now I had my doubts about this set-up because I drive rather aggressively. I dusted off my dash and place the Zune on the pad. The thing is rock solid and I would trust it in almost all driving circumstances with confidence except for a hard hitting accident. A fender bender won't move that Zune a bit.
Try it out for yourself. You can always send it back to Amazon if you do not like the way it functions.
Plug in the adapter in the cigarette lighter, plug in the Zune, use auto-tune to find a clear station, turn on the radio, tune it to match the clear fequency and WOW!
The Zune Car Pack 2 is easy, static free, and movement DOES NOT effect the sound at all. As I said before I TRIED my hardest to get static but could not (with the exception of wrapping everything in aluminum foil).
The Zune Car Pack 2 is an excellent product in every respect.
That is what my real-world URBAN experience PROVED to me. I also learned you cannot always trust the reviews you read. Though I would not like to shop without them.
Give it a try as there is really nothing to loose----
I think that the problem is the device is so simple that people are not following the correct process for the device work properly (and the instructions could be better).
Remember to get the clear station tuned with the Zune Car Pack 1st and then turn on your radio and tune to the clear frequency.

(More customer reviews)A few weeks ago I was looking for a mounting solution for my iPhone in my Dodge truck, and was intrigued by the description and reviews I saw of this one. A few days later, it arrived & I began experimenting with different ways to mount it. The more ways I tried, the more I realized how versatile of a mount this is. My mounting location of choice was the overhanging lip of the dashboard, above and to the right of the steering wheel. However, the dash is composed of sort of rippled, patterned plastic, and I seriously doubted that I could get any kind of suction cup mount to work.
Amazingly, the "Smart Pad" that comes with this mount solves this problem perfectly, although it is not very well described in the enclosed instructions. The Smart Pad is simply a tacky, very soft rubber-like disc, which is placed between a non-uniform mounting surface, and the suction cup mount. Somehow, by applying suction against it from the suction cup mount side, the soft surface against the non-uniform mounting surface conforms to that surface and maintains suction against it. Once I figured this out, I successfully managed to mount my iPhone just above and to the right of steering wheel. I set it up so that it was easily visible while driving, got good GPS reception through the windshield, and was easily touched from my right hand, even while holding on to the steering wheel.
But, how well would it hang on to the overhanging lip, and how long would it stay? The true test came right away: a drive from from Arizona to Alaska via the Alaska Highway - four days of normal road vibration, followed by about two days of rough roads with potholes, and frostheaves. The result: it didn't come off even once. I had to worry about mosquitoes, shifting trailer loads, and high gas prices. But never about my iPhone coming loose.
A couple of weeks later, it continues to hang on tightly. No longer do I have to fumble around with my iPhone to change songs, or try to wrestle it out from in between the seats, where it's slid into on a corner.
Overall, a convenient mounting option for the iPhone that is versatile, well-made, and easy to use.

Well I was wrong...IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM...The instructions in pairing my headphones with the adaptor were in my instruction booklet So it was easy as 1..2..3. I've been looking for headphones for a while and after reading reviews and searching for a while, I decided to spend some money and get a quality product and this is it. First I purchased a Sennheiser 160 system, not from Amazon. You can hook up to four units in one system. Then I purchased an additional unit from Amazon and paired it with the system following the instructions. Both headsets work simultaneously producing beautiful crisp noise free sound with no interference whatsoever(best quality). I have a long bedroom with a 46" led tv and I'm at least 25 feet from the tv one end of the room to the other. Watching tv late at night with the wife when the kids go to sleep is an amazing experience now. We both set our own standards of audio level. The bass is not exceptional but it's just right. We're able to hear noises in movies that we couldn't really possibly think of before, like the sound of rain drops in the background in some movies. The whole movie theater enjoyment has come back to us after 4 years, my eldest son's age. I am really enjoying this product.

Often part of the house is wired to one leg and the rest of the house is wired to the other leg. The X-10 signal can't jump from one leg to another leg without the help of some capacitor or X-10 bridge.
Two sides of my living room are on different legs. Side 1 was on the controller leg and worked fine. Side 2 wouldn't work. I placed Compact Powerhouse X10 Plug-In RF Wireless Tranceiver Module TM751 into Side 1 of the living room and another one into Side 2. Now X-10 control modules work on both sides of the room with the X10 HR12A 16 Device Palm Pad Remote Control for X10 Receivers.
I call this a poor man's bridge. Real X-10 bridges cost 10 times as much.

Convert wireless signals into powerline X10 signals. This multiple device RF base works with X10's line of RF remote controls and PIR motion sensors. Wireless X10 devices need this base unit to catch the radio signals and convert them to X10 signals on the electricity line. Add as many handheld remotes and X10 wireless devices as you want to each base. As long as the transmitters are on the same house code as the base, they will all control the same devices. Be careful to have only one RF base unit or X10 security console (which also change RF signals into X10 signals for the electricity line) per housecode. If more than one base unit is used on the same housecode, X10 signal collisions may result. The expandable RF Base includes a built-in appliance module which responds to unit codes 1 under the chosen house code. The appliance module can be controlled by wireless control or from another hardwired X10 transmitter. Like other Appliance Modules, it too is rated for 500 watts incandescent, 1/3 HP motor loads, and 15 amps resistive load (like a space heater.)

The installation was a breeze, but if you are not comfortable with dismantling the back of a seat and hard wiring it to the vehicle yourself Take it to a professional. The screen is good not great but for the kids they are just happy to have cartoons playing. The color (gray) is a slight off in shades in my Mercedes but it is close enough. I have had the unit for about a month now and ran it to another older headrest unit I had so now I can use this one to show the video on both headrests. I gave it 4 stars not because of anything bad but if you want a headrest on a budget it is about as good as you can get. I will see how it holds up over time.....

(More customer reviews)Purchased this Bluetooth adapter because the one included with my Microsoft Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000 is rather large. "Setup" and installation of the BlueSoleil software was painless and the adapter seems to be working great with the exception of lag that sometimes occurs with my mouse movements. The mouse did not do this with the Microsoft adapter so I believe it is either the adapter or BlueSoleil software that is causing this. Still a great device and I held one star due to the occasional lag.

(More customer reviews)Okay, bear with me as I unpack the product - first, two sets of RCA cables for stereo audio and composite video, the receiver, the transmitter, a tiny instruction manual, and ... a power supply? No. Just one cable that plugs into the DC input of one of the two units with two exposed wires on the other end that I can, well... solder to a 12V power supply I have lying around somewhere?!
It may not be apparent from the product description, but this unit does not come with its own power supply! It's up to you to provide 12V to each of the two boxes. How many Ampere? How would I know! The instruction manual just says to hook up "any 10-15V power supply".
Well, if you have a couple of general-purpose power supplies in your garage, you can try the product itself. And you'll regret that. The sound quality is a joke, you'll essentially just hear static. I tried putting the two units next to each other with the antennas effectively touching each other, and it was still just noise with a bit of sound. At some point - after choosing the right channel, and when aligning the antennas with the moon, you will hear something, but the quality is still horrific, with a tiny frequency range that makes it sound like you're transmitting the music through a phone connection.
Most of the wireless devices in the area where I tired it ran at a different band, so I can't blame interference. It seems like the device is just bad, plain and simple. There's nothing good I could say about the little details on the side either: There are no LEDs or anything, so you can't tell whether the sender is turned off or if it just sucks. The units themselves are relatively small, if a bit ugly.
All in all, the power supply situation alone is beyond belief. This unit is supposed to be used inside buildings, where you typically don't have exposed 12V cables that you can hook your gadgets to. I could understand it if this unit was designed to be used in a car, but anything that sees its primary application inside buildings needs to come with proper 110V power supplies. But even if it did, the quality is absolutely unacceptable and makes it impossible to recommend this product.

(More customer reviews)After researching wireless FM transmitters to use with the Zune in my car, I had serious doubts about all the negative feedback that these Monster units received. So I bought this unit from Amazon to try it out for myself.
The negative reviews are true-- static interference even on the clearest channels. The sound quality is awful given what this thing costs. The product feels and looks cheap as well. Not to mention, the clearest channel I could find for the use of this product was 87.9 MHz, but the channel memory on this unit doesn't go any lower than 88.1 MHz! Ridiculous.
Believe the reviews. Don't waste your time or your money on this unit. After testing it out for about an hour, I had mine packaged and ready to return to Amazon for a refund.(Brand new CD decks with front auxiliary input are available for as much as this unit. Might as well just upgrade your deck)
