(More customer reviews)I was researching and searching for many hours for a wireless speaker(s) and this speaker looked to me the best quality for the money. We only need it for when we entertain outside, so I didn't want to spend a lot but wanted to have a good quality music.
PROS:
> works perfect and sounds great outside and upstairs (goes through walls easy)
> ability to either use batteries or the AC plug into a power socket
CONS:
> If you want to use your AV receiver, I think the only option you have is to use the headphone jack for the transmitter: which means you can't play music inside and outside at the same time (probably the same issue with all wireless speakers). I need to experiment more to see if there are other options
> If you do use your AV receiver, the built-in extending cord (nice feature) of the transmitter is very short, not even long enough for you to place the transmitter on top of the entertainment center (depending on what style it is), so i have to leave the cabinet door open with the transmitter on the floor (looks bad).
Other than that, its great! The ability for it to pump loud, good sounding music through walls is the most important thing when considering any wireless speakers.
I highly recommend this speaker. I tried to get the dual speakers, but I was waiting for almost a month and called the company directly to find out the status. They informed me that the dual speakers will not be out until mid to late October, but the single speaker (this one) is available now and I couldn't wait any longer with another party scheduled!
