(More customer reviews)This is our second set of these headphones and we have been very happy with the quality. At this price we expected some minor "issues" but they have performed well. My husband has hearing loss as does a friend. The two guys each put on a set of the headphones and they run off a single base (you can't charge while using headphones though!). When you first turn them on ... you hear hiss but once you have sound coming through it disappears. These have very good range as well. I have a split level home and we can go up a set of stairs and to the opposite far end of the house (even behind a closed door) and the sound comes through! They hold a charge very nicely but when they go ... they go with a pop and that is it. I love to use them late at night to watch our big screen without bothering those sleeping in the house.

JVC HAW600RF 900 MHz Wireless Stereo Headphones Review

(More customer reviews)I bought these JVC headphones as I have a hearing loss and I always get complaints about the TV being too loud. I bought JVC because I have a JVC sound processor. My impression of the headphones is that they are not a well-designed unit.
I have experienced two main problems with this headphone/transmitter set. First, the positioning of the headset in the charger/transmitter has to be perfect or the headset will not charge. And it is very problematic to position the headphones in the charger in exactly the correct manner. If the headset is not perfectly placed, it will not charge the batteries. Therefore, intelligent user-friendly engineering of the charge/headset combo is really lacking. Secondly, the transmitter on my unit will suddenly go off and transmit loud static! That will wake you up real quick! The sound may stop transmitting for up to a minute or more, and then it will come back on. The problem became more frequent so I finally stopped using the headset entirely. JVC has the WORST customer service center in the entire civilized world, (I have tried to get other JVC items serviced and have had nothing but trouble with them), so I junked the unit. I bought a Sony headset and so far it works great.
My advice is to avoid this JVC product.

(More customer reviews)Ive been using wireless phones for a great many years and have been disappointed more times than not. I tried these because Ive learned that price does not always match performance when it comes to wireless headsets. From the first time I walked around my house with these on I noticed that they have a much greater range than most costing allot more.
I also noticed they are secure and comfy. Anyone looking for a first set of wireless phones will not do better than these for the money. They sound better than my three times the price Sony phones and are interference free when adjusted properly. In fact they perform better than any others I have ever owned so far (about six different brands and price ranges). I can even walk outside and empty the garbage or do a little gardening around the house and still I hear no breaks in audio.
And one final hint for these things is get some higher amp hour rated batteries. They ship with 500mah so replacing them with some Lenmar or Ultralast 800-1000mah types greatly increases the run time. Just make sure they are the NiMh type.
Try them you will like them.

(More customer reviews)I didn't expect much when I ordered these. I needed wireless headphones so I didn't wake up my girlfriend while I watched TV late at night. These had a rebate when I ordered them and were the lowest price so I bought them.
Turns out they are great quality for the price. Great range as I can walk into the kitchen several rooms away from my bedroom with the headphones on and still listen to my show. Great fabric on the ear pieces so they don't buildup heat or collect moisture. They recharge when you set them in the holder and even come with nimh batteries.
The headphones are a bit bulkier that what I was originally looking for, but they're light and don't get in the way. They have a clear sound. I'm really happy with my purchase. Thanks Amazon!
