Although the product has earned a good rating with regards to comfort, sound quality and noise, I will never buy another product offered by the company, TV EARS, again.
After just 4 months of usage (just long enough for the 90 day warranty to expire), I began to notice that the headset batteries would fail after about 6 hours. The problem continued to get worse as time went by. By the 6th month of use, the batteries failed within 4 hours or less of use. (The same problem was experienced by both sets of 2.3 MHz headsets I purchased from TV EARS)
I called TV EARS for help. They acknowledged that the 2.3 MHz models were not as good as the ORIGINAL models,(of which I have owned 2), but, since the 90 day warranty expired, all that they would be willing to do is to honor their FREE Lifetime Service Guarantee and exchange my used 2.3 MHz headsets for new 2.3 MHz headsets for about $70.00 + shipping and handling and taxes for each headset. I declined their gracious offer.
Even though they acknowledge that the 2.3 MHz product might be defective, all TV EARS offers as an "equitable solution" to the problems exiting within their defective product, is to exchange "used junk" for "new junk" at almost the same price as buying their junk online. Their response to my problem makes me question if TV EARS is a company that I, or anyone else, should feel comfortable dealing with.
Buyer Beware.
