Roadview RHM-9.0G 9-Inch Headrest with Built-In DVD Player (Gray) Review

I am very pleased with this product. I have owned it for a month or so and just got back from a 3800 mile road trip where it was in use constantly. I installed it in a 2008 Hyundai Entourage.
Pros: It came with every cable needed (including an adapter for the mini front input). The built in FM modulator worked well. The built in speakers were adequate for the seat directly facing the screen (the volume had to be turned up a few notches from full when at 70 miles a hour - I suppose this is very vehicle dependent). The post fit in standard holes perfectly and you could still adjust the height (it came with several adapters to adjust the fit if needed). The screen is pretty good quality and is still easy to watch even in the middle of the day. I loved the zipper cover, which when closed makes the headrest look stock to the casual observer (or thief) and protects the screen. The remote works well and the controls are easy to use. The headrest blends in well, is made from quality material, and the angle is adjustable (to help people of different heights see the screen better).
Cons: The biggest fault I had with this unit is the documentation is very vague (for instance: even though the FM modulator setup is straightforward, it is not even listed in the instructions). For the most part I was able to spend a few minutes playing with everything on it and I just tossed the instructions anyway. The other thing I noted above is the built in speakers are a little weak. There was also one instance where we had to open and close the DVD door latch to get the "door open" warning to clear from the screen so the DVD would play - this only happen once over a three week period, but I thought I should note it.
Conclusion: I am really happy with this product and I would recommend it. I compared it to several others before buying and I am pleased with the price given the screen size and features.
Other Notes: This unit has a companion screen which it can share its video output with through an included cable (if you want to save money by only having one DVD player): Roadview RHF-9.0G 9-Inch Headrest Monitor (Gray). It can also accept a video input from an additional source (in addition to the front input), which is great if you want to plug in a game system. I am only noting these features, because I found them while researching this unit, but have not actually used them.
Install Tip: I only wanted a semi permanent install so I removed the seat back ran the power wire below (the power and video wires are in the post) and spliced it into an old 12 volt cigarette lighter adapter which I plugged into the van's power point (so if needed I could easily swap it to another car, just by unplugging it).
