Monster MPC FM XMTR RadioPlay FM Transmitter for Portable Audio Players Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)Money well spent! I bought a similar product that worked on batteries. Needless to say that ate batteries like crazy - when you use it every day twice a day for a 42 mile one way commute to work... (I listen to a lot of books on tape & CD) When that finally died (the wires broke inside), I found this little gem! Plugs into the 'cigarette lighter', and since I have a Subaru, I don't have to worry about unplugging it to save the car battery. (I can see that being a problem for people who have vehicles with electrical systems that stay on when you turn the vehicle off - that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 - for my needs, it's a 5 all the way!) On the whole, the sound is fantastic - I use it with a casette player, a cd player (as the one in my car died), and my daughter's Ipod. You cannot tell the difference between the real radio and the broadcast. There is a good selection of stations to choose to from, and it's easy to slide from station to station if needs be. I've never found a reason to change my chosen broadcast station.
All in all - a great buy for the buck! (much cheaper than getting an entire new radio for the car just to listen to my books)
