(More customer reviews)I have a Logitech THX 5.1 channel system. I have had this speaker system for a very long time. I have always complained about finding a decent place to run wires, as I prefer to rent and not own. So through walls, or ceiling isn't ever an option. I've been creative in the past, running along baseboards, or under stairs, under rugs.
This kit works flawlessly, no latency, no deminished volume, none of the usual issues with wireless speaker kits. This kit is different from the other Rocketfish kit in that this one supports HD audio. Also you can get two receivers to have up to 7.1 channel system support.
Setup was a breeze. Plug the sender into my logitech ports for the rear left and right. Plug the two rear speakers into the reciever, and turn both units on. Presto instant wireless system. This system doesn't mean you won't have wires runniing at all. It gives you the ability to have LESS wires. The rear speakers still have to be wired to the reciever box, and that box needs to have a "line of sight" to the sender. So for me this means running wires behind sofa. This is still better than under a rug, or up a wall.
Overall, great product, pretty small, and works just as expected.
Just a side note, look at Best Buy the time I purchased this kit best buy was a better price.
