(More customer reviews)I purchased the Soundcast SOU-UAT250US transmitter along with an Outcast outdoor speaker to broadcast music from my computer or my audio system to my patio. Both have worked flawlessly for months.
Installing the Soundcast transmitter couldn't be easier. You simply plug it into your computer using a USB cable or into your audio system using the RCA jacks and the supplied power adapter. The signal broadcasts for hundreds of feet, even through walls.
Sound transmission has been excellent, with no interference. I have tried other wireless speaker systems and been disappointed. They were often interrupted by cordless phones, microwave ovens, or signals from a nearby airport. I have so far had no such problem with the Soundcast units. The sound quality is superb, and the Outcast speaker is powerful enough to fill a backyard with music.
Overall, I'm quite happy with the system.
