(More customer reviews)I got this shower radio because I wanted to be able to listen to the songs on my MP3 while I was in the shower. The transmitter thing works, just not very well. the box says the transmitter can work "up yo 100 ft" from the radio, but I found it works best when it's less than 1 ft away. I had to put the transmitter and my MP3 in a ziploc bag and tape it to my shower wall to be able to hear my music with no static. not a pretty solution. In adition, when your using the MP3 feature, the bass sounds really bad. Otherwise, sound quality was ok. The radio works perfectly though, and is easy to use.

(More customer reviews)This looks like a great product. However, it does not work. The first time I used it, the speaker would not stay on. I had brand new batteries in the speaker and the dock was plugged into the wall, and the speaker kept turning off. I continued to try it, thinking that maybe it was because it was wet and having problems, however even when it was dry the speaker wouldn't stay on. It would be on for a few minutes, but then would shut off. When I could get it to stay on for a little while, the music would cut in and out. The dock was less than 10 feet away with my ipod plugged into it. It was absolutely horrible.

(More customer reviews)Does exactly what I expected. When I wake up for work, sometimes my wife is still sleeping. I want to listen to the TV in the bathroom as I get ready for work but I don't want to wake her. This solved the problem. I bought an audio coupler for $0.99 and connected the TV audio out to the transmitter, turned off the TV speakers and viola! The speaker hangs in my shower and I can listen to TV in the bathroom without waking my wife. Awesome! She hooks up her iPod to the transmitter when she's in the bathroom for a soak in the tub or getting ready to go out. No issues with interference or volume.. then again I'm only transmitting over about 15' or so. Battery life has been good so far. Wish there was an indicator for the bass boost so you could tell if it is on or off (you have to press it and listen for the distortion) but I never need to use it so whatev. Again, perfect for what I needed so it gets the 5 stars!

After reading another review (which said it eats batteries), I decided to buy rechargeable batteries. However we actually have not changed the batteries since Christmas and it is used almost every day. So we have not had a problem at all with it eating batteries.
