(More customer reviews)The vox340 is a Bluetooth stereo headset with mic that also includes a separate blue tooth transmitter adapter with a 3.5mm plug that plugs into any headphone jack.
It works great as Bluetooth stereo headphones and beats all the FM and 900MHz headphones I have tried over the years. The range is about 25ft when going through the walls where I live. Since stereo operation only requires pairing with the included adapter, makes it possible to listen wirelessly to anything with a stereo jack. I have it plugged into my laptop.
When paired with a cellphone, the vox340 solves the problem of being able to listen to stereo without wires and still be able to switch to talking on the phone without changing to another headset (or removing the stereo headphones/ear buds to put a phone to your ear).
The device has a loop that is worn around the neck and the 2 inch pendant has volume control, on/off, and 2 other buttons that have tape deck like forward/rewind markings. Each ear bud branches off the loop a short distance to reach the ears. It comes with a charger; the batteries are not removeable.
I have only been able to get it to work with the adapter as Bluetooth stereo headphones since pairing is tricky with my cellphone and laptop, but I have not given up making it work with a MacBook Pro.
The manuals included were minimal and only in French and Spanish, no English. I had to get translation help to know what the various blinking LED modes mean and how to do Bluetooth pairing.
After searching and translation help, I found out:
* Bluetooth 1.2 device.
* Alternating red-green LED in the adapter means it is in pairing mode.
* Pairing mode is triggered by pressing On and Off buttons simultaneously and holding until it starts to blink.
* When the battery is totally drained, it needs to be paired again.
* Device can act either like stereo headphones or a hands free headset.
An insert into the package lists many cell phones that are compatible. To keep this review succinct, I will try to post more "missing vox340 manual" details elsewhere so others can benefit.

Overall the look of the product looked nice, but when we plugged it in that was another story. Feedback left and right and playing with the frequencies and lowering the house volume, but the worst thing was the sound quality. You sound like you were talking through a box, not clear at all no matter how you mixed it. Do not purchase this item, buy namebrand for the system you use.

First off the good then bad,
Pros: very good theater sound (bass...), wireless technology worked on my ipad and computer so i was able to get good audio, has good range (yes it works through walls), smells like leather and good feeling?
Cons: Ear cups don't really cover ears and are hard pressing against skull, which makes them uncomfortable after an hour or less. Transmitter must be connected to a power source , either through usb or wall charger (included), would have been good if they added some type of battery run solution to it. The worst part is that since it's wireless runs on 2.4ghz it interfered with my wifi and with other wireless peripherals (Microsoft mouse 4000). For instance, when i plugged the transmitter into my laptop, my wireless speed dropped from 26mbps to .2mbps. When i use my wireless mouse, I loose internet connection on my laptop. So until their is another solution, I don't see this working.

Sony DRBT22 Wireless Stereo Headset Review

Just bought these along with the TMR-BT8 iPod adapter. Pairing is very easy. While the headphones are off, hold down the power button for 7 seconds or when the pink and blue lights are blinking. The pairing code is 0000.
In addition to my 5th gen iPod, I also paired it with my Razr V3xx and Thinking T61p. No problems at all and the sound is as clear as with my wired headphones. These headphones do not have very much bass but it's much better than average in-the-ear types. The treble range is pretty good and better than average as well. Wireless range is very good, as long as there aren't too many obstacles. I was able to go at least 40 feet away with no cutting out at all. Simply amazing. Other features include controlling devices with the jog dial and volume buttons, which I was able to do with all 3 of my devices. I have not tried making or receiving a call from them yet but I don't perceive that I will have any problems. But with all the good, there's always a little bad. The control buttons do not feel firm and makes the whole thing seem fragile. In general I am careful with my electronics so this will not be a problem. I could see using these at the gym but I wouldn't drop them or place undue stress on them. This one is minor but the charger looks like it was designed to be compact but the prongs do not fold in and away. I could see traveling with these headphones on a business trip and being able to drop it in my laptop case would've been nice. And lastly, at this price, they should've included a case, preferably a hard plastic one.
Pros:
1. Easy pairing between devices
2. Very good wireless range
3. Intuitive controls
4. Battery life seems to be very good so far
5. Clear sound with no cutting out
6. Better than average sound quality
Cons:
1. Seems a little fragile
2. Prongs do not fold in on compact AC charger
3. No case included
UPDATE (8/11/08):
Now that I've had these headphones for 8 months, I found out that I can pair my phone and iPod simultaneously. I can be listening to the iPod and when a call comes in, the iPod pauses, and I can take the call. Once the call is over, the iPod resumes playing.
UPDATE (11/5/08):
These headphones work with my iPhone 3G but with caveats. First, you must use the Sony TMR-BT8 iPod adapter. You CANNOT just pair through the iPhone's built-in bluetooth AND you must not have it set to "on" before using the Sony adapter. It's probably best not to have bluetooth turned on at all. Second, you must have the adapter in and be in iPod mode before turning on headphones or they won't pair up. Third, you can get phone calls but they will not go through the headphones. And as with all previous iPhone accessories, you will be told that the adapter is an older accessory and may not work, do you want airplane mode. Just select "no" and don't worry about it. I think I covered all of the caveats. What is nice is that you can use the A2DP functions of the headphones like play/stop/FF/RW and volume, you will hear the phone ring in the headphones, and the music will resume once your call is over.
UPDATE (9/28/09):
iPhone ONLY. Now with the 3.0 firmware upgrade, there is no need for the Sony TMR-BT8 iPod adapter anymore. However, while you can play/stop music, you do not have prev/next or reverse/fast-forward functions. I recently upgraded to the iPhone 3GS and still no go on those functions. Hopefully this gets fixed in a future firmware upgrade.

(More customer reviews)This microphone does the job!....great sound, easy to set up, and haven't had a single problem with it! I certainly don't get any "extra noises" from this microphone as I ever did with a wired microphone! It doesn't pick up every single "puhhhh," "sssssss," or "plunk" when touched or tapped. I'm very happy with it....Only thing though, I recommend getting rechargable batteries...as you'll need to have an extra pair or two if playing long shows as do I....usually 4 hours plus. Most batteries and brands last a good 4-7 hours....but sometimes it just seems that some brands don't last as long as the others...cheaper in the end to just buy the rechargable ones....it doesn't take long...and they last a good while!
Thanks Shure for making such a wonderful microphone!!! Will certainly stay with company forever!

The mic is positioned nice for me the headband is sweat absorbent. Getting it to fit my head was not a problem. It is a bit heavier than the cheaper models supplied by the gym I work at but not enough to bother me.
Though a little pricey it is robust so I have no worries about longevity. I would recommend this product

Installation was very easy if you follow the Quick-Start guide. The THX options are amazing for versatility. Range on the 2.4gHz wireless is also very delectable. I was very impressed until I went to talk to my guild mates over Ventrilo...
Every single person said I sounded very muffled / tin-e / static-e. The microphone also picks up almost every sound in the room. It is very annoying. Noise canceling microphone??? NO. More like noise amplifying microphone of terrible quality. I plugged in my old $15 headset from WalMart and my voice was back to crystal clarity to everyone in Ventrilo.
I spent about two hours of my own time alternating sound options inside Windows, Ventrilo, and the custom sound board to get my voice sounding somewhat normal over Ventrilo to no avail. I posted this issue on the official Sound Blaster forums. I am also going to create a support request. If this issue isn't fixed or on the way to being fixed I'm going to get a refund and by a different set.

I've been looking for headphones for a while and after reading reviews and searching for a while, I decided to spend some money and get a quality product and this is it. First I purchased a Sennheiser 160 system, not from Amazon. You can hook up to four units in one system. Then I purchased an additional unit from Amazon and paired it with the system following the instructions. Both headsets work simultaneously producing beautiful crisp noise free sound with no interference whatsoever(best quality). I have a long bedroom with a 46" led tv and I'm at least 25 feet from the tv one end of the room to the other. Watching tv late at night with the wife when the kids go to sleep is an amazing experience now. We both set our own standards of audio level. The bass is not exceptional but it's just right. We're able to hear noises in movies that we couldn't really possibly think of before, like the sound of rain drops in the background in some movies. The whole movie theater enjoyment has come back to us after 4 years, my eldest son's age. I am really enjoying this product.

Even when I adjust the gain to the lower dB, it still have some distortion at high frequency input (like the singer with high pitch voice). Other than that, it's good to have wireless and no antena to worry about. It's a compact unit. It would be nice to have an on/off switch rather have to unhook the power cable every time to turn it off.

Sony DR-BT21IK/B Wireless Transmitter and Bluetooth Headset for iPod Review

(More customer reviews)I'll have to say Sony has a great product on their hands here. The problem is they don't tell you this at all, neither on the box, on their website, in this listing on amazon or other reviews I have read.
Pros:
-Easy to setup
-Best sound quality out of all bluetooth headphones tested-comparable to a about a $50 pair of wired headphones (good bass, a little scratchy when you have it really loud, great mids and highs)
-Versatility (explained below)
-Most comfortable behind the ear bluetooth headphones, also the lightest, comparable to the weight and comfort to other sony behind the ear wired headphones
-Battery life is very good
Cons:
-Foldable aspect makes them a bit delicate, little worried that could be a problem in the future
-Play/Pause/Forward/Backward control for music is a little tricky and small
Versatility:
What everyone including Sony fails to tell you is these headphones can replace all of the following: your bluetooth headset for your phone (if your phone has bluetooth), your bluetooth headphones for your cell phone (if it supports this profile), headphones for your computer (if it has bluetooth), mic for your computer, allowing you to chat with your friends wirelessly. Also you can use the ipod transmitter to connect your ipod to other bluetooth enabled devices, like your stereo system in your home entertainment system, that is if it supports it. The headphones/headset has a built in microphone, giving you the ability to use the whole system for talking to people on your computer and cell phone. I tested it with multiple systems and I was well impressed. Also worked great on my macs. Another feature not mentioned is while listening to music on your phone, you can receive a phone call, and then go right back to listening to music. The last thing I need to test is if I can have my phone and ipod connected at the same time and it pauses your music when a call comes in.
The beauty of this product is it can be used in so many manners, it ends up replacing so many things. The cost is well justified when you realize it replaces the headphones for your ipod and computer, the bluetooth headset for your phone (easily $60) and mic for your computer. On top of it all what it replaces, it ends up being wireless, making it so much easier and convenient to work while enjoying your music or talking.
Five stars to Sony, now get your marketing department to realize the product you have and bring the price to exactly $99.95 retail and you'll sell tons of these.
Highly Recommended Accessory:
Case Logic makes this case for GPS units, where the DR-BT21IK/B happen to fit perfectly in it. It is made of durable and secure leather and vinyl, very hard to help protect your investment. Because of the folding plastic, I recommend this case (I just got mine from my local computer store this evening) to protect the hinges cause I can see when traveling with the headphones, those could easily get crushed.
