(More customer reviews)We purchased one of these devices to use for our church for audio recordings. While it picks up very well, there is a lot of noise that comes along with it. We tried new batteries, different rooms, balanced/unbalanced cables, different output devices -- it didn't matter, the buzzing around the speakers voice was always present and difficult to remove afterwards. The unit works well, and if you're not recording it would probably be fine (nobody could tell on the audio system). It just didn't work, though, for audio recording.

Samson Concert 77 lapel wireless system is an ideal solution for any professional application. The Concert 77 lapel wireless provides high performance UHF True-Diversity Wireless at an incredible price. The Concert 77 UHF Wireless systems feature half rack space/dual antenna receivers with 6 segment audio and RF metering, volume and squelch controls, 1/4-inch unbalanced and XLR balanced outputs (switchable mic/line level), a rugged beltpacks transmitter with On/Off and Audio Mute switches, a battery meter, and audio level controls. The CT7 beltpack transmitter is configured as a headset system thanks to the popular locking P3 input connection. Audio Technica Pro Series Dynamic Headworn Microphone for Wireless Systems Review

It was recommended by a local store to go along with Audio-Technica's PRO 88W VHF wireless microphone systems that are designed for use with a camcorder. However, upon receiving both items, I discovered the headset has a 4-pin connection, and the wireless set accepts 3.5mm pin. The descriptions clearly state this. I just didn't read it, since I was going on 'professional' advice. My bad. I will say, the headset does seem to be well made, for the price. It's probably a great buy if it has the right connection for your system.
That being said, American Musical Supply, who the headset was ordered from, was exceptional fast in responding to my request for a RA# to return the headset. Credit was promptly applied to my account. I will shop with them in the future!
